MIAMI, Florida — The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) announced yesterday the expanded agreement with FOX Soccer that will add five more CONCACAF competitions to the broadcaster’s line-up in the United States.

The additions include the 2013 CONCACAF Men’s Under-17 and Under-20 Championships, the 2014 CONCACAF Women’s Under-17 and Under-20 Championships and 2015 CONCACAF Women’s World Cup Qualifying.

“Our expanded relationship with FOX Soccer in the United States is a tangible example of the growing popularity that our competitions are experiencing within our region,” said CONCACAF President, Caymanian Jeffrey Webb.

“We are hopeful that this comprehensive coverage model will serve as the benchmark for future years,” he said.

David Nathanson, executive vice-president and general manager of FOX Soccer, said his company is excited with its expansion into CONCACAF’s American football territory.

“We are thrilled to add five different and unique CONCACAF competitions to FOX Soccer beginning this month… not only can viewers follow the US Women for another exhilarating quest for a seventh consecutive FIFA World Cup appearance, but they’re also able to witness many of the region’s emerging young stars,” he said.

First up for FOX Soccer is the CONCACAF Men’s Under-20 Championship in Puebla, Mexico, with live coverage that begins next Monday.

These additions, along with the CONCACAF Champions League and 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup scheduled later this year, establish FOX Soccer as the pre-eminent US destination for all of CONCACAF’s competitions
