Bolt confirmed for Camperdown Classic
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Usain Bolt will open his season at the Camperdown Classic this Saturday, his Racers Track Club website confirmed Friday afternoon.
It’s expected that the repeat triple Olympic champion will compete in the 400m, running against training partners Yohan Blake and Warren Weir who took runner up spots to him in 200m at the London Olympics.
Bolt, who many have said would do well over the distance, has a 45.28 personal best set in May 2007.
The meet will get underway at 9:00am at the National Stadium in Kingston.
