Prospect FC defeated Kool Kat FC 2-0 in the St Thomas Captain’s Bakery Major League competition at the Cotton Tree Oval in St Thomas last Sunday.

Tyson Robinson (29th) and Rudolph Bailey (30th) scored the all-important goals.

In the other game at same venue, Lyssons drew 1-1 with Yallahs. Otis Jackson scored for Lyssons in the eighth minute, while Dushawn Robinson equalised for Yallahs in the 29th.

At the Bath play field, the host edgedHeartease 1-0, courtesy of a Duran Moore’s goal in the 39th minute.

Seaforth lead Zone A with nine points, followed by Yallahs and York with seven points each, Prospect are next on five, Lyssons have three, while Kool Kat are yet to earn a point.

In Zone B, Heartease, Delta Force and Bath are all on seven points each, Port Morant United on five, Danvers Pen on a single point, while Hill Side are on nought.

Only one game will be staged today as the competition continues when Port Morant United host Danvers Pen at Land Top at 3:00 pm.

The mid-season final is scheduled for next week Staurday.
