Invaders can extend lead in Trelawny football
BUNKERS HILL, Trelawny — Former champions Invaders SC could extend their lead atop Zone One of the Trelawny Football Association National Rums of Jamaica Major League today when they take on Jackson Town in the second game of a double-header at Bunkers Hill.
Invaders lead joint second placed teams Spicy Hill and Clark’s Town by three points, 15 to 12, but a win today would see them move six points clear, at least for 24 hours, as Spicy Hill and Clark’s Town meet tomorrow at Georgia playing field.
In Zone Two today, both second-placed Classic United and third-placed Exidos So Fresh can move past leaders Prospect, who play tomorrow.
Classic United are on 12 points, one behind the leaders, and will play away to Flames at Sea Road in Duncans, while Exidos So Fresh are on 11 points and will face Kinloss in the first game at Bunkers Hill, starting at 1:00 pm.
Both first leg games had ended in draws, Exidos and Kinloss shared six goals equally, while Flames and Classic were goal-less.
