The Communist-turned-capitalist
It’s interesting watching Dr Trevor Munroe’s transformation from the raging Communist of the 1970s Workers Party of Jamaica (WPJ) to the well-behaved capitalist wearing suit and tie and spouting morality. We girls fawned over him at university but it’s hard to recognise him these days singing a different tune of self-righteousness.
A telling bank story
The bank teller is suspected in the disappearance of the money but some staffers are saying he could not have acted alone and that a big man or two must have colluded with him. Friends are encouraging him to spill the beans and tell his story.
Influence peddling
Once upon a time the lodges stood alone when it came to influence peddling. Now people are saying the homosexuals have the game and their tentacles are everywhere, even in some of the least suspected places.
