Late goal hands Reno Super League draw
A goal in stoppage time earned Reno FC a 1-1 draw with last-placed Granville in thei Captain’s Bakery Western Confed Super League Zone Two game at Frome on Tuesday.
Shemar Muirhead scored in time added for Reno to deny Granville their second win and a chance to move off the foot of the table.
Tennison Jarrett had given Granville a dream start when he scored in the first minute, but had to be satisfied with a point to move to five, the same as Holland, but with an inferior goal difference.
Reno, meanwhile, inched to 13 points but trail leaders Tomorrow’s People on goal difference.
In another game, Petersfield FC edged Logwood United, 1-0, in a rescheduled Zone One game at Petersfield.
Richard McKenzie scored in the second minute for the home team as the two clubs met for the second time in two days after drawing 0-0 on Sunday.
