Dancing Dynamites gets investment from LIME
THE Jenny Jenny Productions-led dancing competition Dancing Dynamites has, since 2006, sparked a buzz among Jamaican households.
This season is promised to be quite an explosion of talent. LIME Jamaica has officially announced its participation in Dancing Dynamites 2013 as the competition’s official telecommunications sponsor.
LIME, through its multimillion-dollar investment in the competition, looks forward to partnering to bring the talents of the Jamaican population to a wider demographic.
“We want to help to give these dancers more exposure and this will become a reality through the expansion of the broadcast of Dancing Dynamites. LIME’s contribution of $1-million will be allotted to broadcast the competition’s proceedings to the Tri-State areas of the US and a total of 21 Caribbean islands,” shared Kim Lee, senior marketing manager at LIME.
For the fifth consecutive year, LIME Jamaica will have lots of great prizes for the competing teams as well as their dedicated fans.
The first-place winners will receive three BlackBerry 9900 plus $1,000 LIME credit monthly for one year; second-place winners will receive three BlackBerry 9380 plus $1,000 LIME credit monthly for one year; and the third and fourth winners will receive a year’s supply of call credit valued at $500 and $1,000 monthly.
LIME will also be giving the top voter of the season a Lenovo laptop with oneyear free Internet access and weekly top voters will receive a Nokia 5330.
“Dancing is a part of the Jamaican people; it plays a big role in our culture and folklore as well as modernday entertainment. Dancing Dynamites not only encourages young dancers to showcase their talent to the audience, but also gives them the opportunity to hone their skills with discipline and structure. LIME is happy to be a sponsor of this competition and we look forward to a successful season as these dancers ‘bring it’ to the stage,” shared Kim Lee in closing.
