Reno go top in Western Confed Super League
FROME, Westmoreland — Reno FC joined Tomorrow’s People on six points atop Zone Two of the Jamaica Football Federation Captain’s Bakery and Grill Western Confederation Super League after coming from a goal down to beat Holland United at Frome Tuesday evening.
The loss dropped the Trelawny club to third place on three points after they had won their opening game against Norwood Strikers on Sunday.
Oshane Williams gave Holland the lead after 39 minutes and they held the lead until the 71st minute when Delano Rankine equalised.
Orpheous McPherson scored the winner five minutes later in the 76th minute to keep Reno perfect with two wins, but trail Tomorrow’s People on goal difference.
In other games played on Tuesday, Tomorrow’s People and Holland were 1-0 winners over Granville FC and Norwood Strikers, respectively.
Catherine Hall FC lead Zone One on four points, ahead of Harmony FC on goal difference with Wadadah and Village United on three points each.
