MoBay United beat Boys Town 1-0
CATHERINE HALL, St James – Montego Bay United jumped several places into fourth position in the Red Stripe Premier League after edging Boys Town 1-0 at the Montego Bay Sports Complex in the first Monday Night game played outside of Kingston.
Fabian McCarthy’s 3rd minute penalty kick secured the win for Montego Bay United while the End of Round champions Boys Town’s second round skid continued.
Boys Town ended the match with 10 men.
Carlos Wright who had fouled Allan Ottey to give away the penalty picked up a second yellow card and was sent off late in the game.
Montego Bay United improved to 26 points, tied with Waterhouse, one behind defending champions Portmore who they will face Thursday.
