I was wondering if Mrs Betty Ann Blaine had forgotten to mention it to the women who were evicted at Duke Street. Thankfully, someone called her out on that issue. As a woman, let me advise my sisters: Have only as many children as you can afford.
A lesson well learnt by TVJ
After winning the ‘analysis war’ during the London Olympics, TVJ is moving to grab the next Olympics. It was painful to see the station giving analysis — most times without footage — and suffering the indignity of having to turn to rival CVM to watch the Games. To be fair to CVM, they had the vision to acquire the rights and should be commended.
Feeling it for the paralympians
The Paralymics people ought to do better. How can you eliminate athletes on the basis of a quota system? And then to only tell them after they had reached London and all that expense. Shabby indeed. Christopher Samuda and his team must be smarting.
