Cold rain ends Olympic training session
BIRMINGHAM, England – A quick shower of rain today forced a quick ending to a training session of the Jamaican track and field team at the Monrow stadium facilities at the University of Birmingham here.Observer team was told earlier today they could not get access to the training facilities or the athletes.Observer early this morning if we got the go ahead from Jamaican officials we would be allowed to attend the training sessions.
The cold rain forced the athletes off the newly relaid track and back to the team base on the sprawling university campus just about 10 minutes from the town centre.
