Jamaica Talented TEENs Run for Education
THEY came from all walks of life early Sunday morning, July 8 to attend the GraceKennedy Education Run in downtown, Kingston.
The event, which was held to raise funds to support educational programmes in downtown inner city communities, pulled the contestants in this year’s Miss Jamaica Caribbean Talented TEEN Competition on the five-kilometre fundraiser.
Chillin Flavoured Water, title sponsor of Miss Jamaica Caribbean Talented TEEN and as such the contestants were decked out in their pink and white branded T-Shirts, complemented by their white hats and comfortable walking shoes.
As the clock ticked to the 7:00 am start time, each contestant edged forward to get a good start. The girls all completed their walk in good times, and expressed their appreciation for being given an opportunity to participate in such a worthy cause and to represent the Chillin Brand.
Moya Shim (Miss Bashco) emerged as the winner among her fellow contestants.
The Miss Jamaica Caribbean Talented TEEN contestants will be sashed by their respective sponsors at the official Media Launch and Sashing tomorrow at the etroleum Corporation of Jamaica Auditoruim.
Thereafter, contestants will begin their official pageant activities. The Grand Coronation Show will be held on August 25 at the Louise Bennett Garden Theatre at 7:00 pm.
