‘Talawah’ — Priced To Satisfy
Are you a beer lover, but just can’t keep up with the high prices? No sweat! How about one created just for you and only for a cool $100!
Desnoes and Geddes celebrated ‘National Talawah Day’ last week Thursday with the launch of the newest beer on the Jamaican market. The day according to the company’s Innovation Manager, Rory Burchenson, “National Talawah Day was dedicated to celebrating the most unique qualities of Jamaicans — our fun-loving spirit, our determination to succeed and our will to survive against the odds.”
Burchenson feels that Talawah Beer will recognise those intrinsic traits by launching a reach-out-to-the-people campaign.
“As we ready to observe our 50th year as an independent nation, Talawah wants to celebrate this milestone with our consumers all across the island,”he said.
Since Talawah hit the shelves it has been enthusiastically accepted.
“Consumers love Talawah’s unique taste and of course the price has a lot to do with it too.
Head of Marketing at Red Stripe, Jomo Cato says the company’s main aim with the brand is to satisfy consumer demands.
“We realise that these are tough economic times for everyone and we want consumers to still be able to enjoy beer instead of sacrificing purchasing it. This $100 beer will do just that!” Cato remarked.
