James on the double for Papine

TIFFANY James loved her first gold medal for Papine High earlier today she went and added a second a few hours later when she held off defending champion Luisa Buchanan of Holmwood to win the Class 3 800m.

James, who will represent Jamaica in the Under 17 800m at next weekend CARIFTA Championships in Hamilton Bermuda, ran 2 minutes 11.31 seconds to Buchanan’s 2 minutes 11.90 seconds while Junelle Bromfield of St Elizabeth Technical took third place in 2 minutes 13.86 seconds.
