And the appearance of the star’s mother Tina, 57, sister Solange, 25, and nephew Julez in the city, has certainly added weight to the report. Nurses at New York’s St Luke’s Roosevelt hospital have allegedly been told to prepare the labour suite for the arrival of a celebrity VIP. And Tina and Solange were spotted leaving vintage store Stella Dallas in New York City just this week, which means they are clearly keen to be on hand should the star go into labour. Beyoncé lives in a multimillion-dollar penthouse apartment in the city with rapper husband Jay- Z. It is thought the 30-year-old singer and her husband could be welcoming a child as early as today, according to MediaTakeOut.com.

The website reports that half the floor of the hospital’s Labor and Delivery Suite has been booked by the singer, although the hospital has not confirmed the claims. Beyoncé is thought to have reached the ninemonth mark in her pregnancy. And in a clip from her Live at Roseland DVD she said: “Hello! It’s September 23rd … Right now I’m actually shooting the video for Countdown and I’m six months pregnant, pretending that my stomach is flat in body suits.” If correct, it would mean that Beyoncé is set to give birth any day now. A spokesperson for the singer was unavailable for comment earlier this week.
