PNP supporters in St Ann say JLP using bogus voters list
SOME People’s National Party supporters in North West St Ann have accused the Jamaica Labour Party of using a ‘bogus’ voters list.
This resulted in a verbal clash between some election-day workers of both parties at the Runaway Bay All-Age school.
“The man come in with a bogus list; him a push di woman and a tell her say her name deh pon di list and wen me check her name nuh deh pon my list,” argued a PNP liason officer.
A verbal clash then ensued between the supporters with the JLP denying the claim.
An Electoral Office of Jamaica supervisor who intervened assured that no-one would be allowed to vote unless there names appears on the EOJ’s list.
