Former Jamaican banker Tanya Ho-Shue together with her brother Martin Ritchie-Haughton have partnered with Glissen Chemical Company (USA) to launch a new range of cleaning and sanitizing products which are now available on the local market following the arrival in Jamaica of the Evergreen and Nu-Foam brands from the United States.

Evergreen Cleaning & Sanitizing Solutions LLC (EC&S) has introduced a range of formulations which are specifically designed for the manufacturing sector, the food and hospitality service sector, hospitals and health care institutions and other areas in the field of agriculture. The formulations also cater to the needs of dry cleaning, laundromat establishments and supermarket chains.

The mission of Evergreen Cleaning & Sanitizing Solutions is to offer a quantum leap in the the cleaning and sanitizing process in Jamaica. The products are particularly apt for the tourism sector which is the country’s largest earner of foreign exchange and one of its largest employers.

The products being offered by EC&S are environmentally friendly as they contain non-hazardous ingredients and are all biodegradable. They are are of commercial strength with cosmetic grade additives.

The company’s flagship product is the Nu-Foam sanitizing tablet which is the first such product to be developed that is registered by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

This item is manufactured with a rinse aid additive which is a water softener that allows for faster drying. It’s ideal for sanitizing food processing equipment, bar equipment, counter tops, glasses, pots, pans and other utensils used in the food service and hospitality industries.
