Pepperpot – December 9
How to know a real thief
The ex-employee who is before the courts in that messy affair is showing no remorse about the allegations of fraud. Instead, he is overheard telling friends and associates that he will work with a successful PNP Government to bring down his former boss. Now that’s how you know a real thief, no remorse. Makes one wonder who else benefited from the ill-gotten gains. Still, even those who pine after him now will desert him when everything comes out.
Unforced error
Word is, the recent resignation, no not the minister, had little to do with his age and much more to do with the stage of the self-appointed successor.
Rip off!
Many have been screaming about the cost of wholesale liquor at a certain central spot in the heart of Kingston. But they’ve discovered that not too far up the road they can get their booze for almost half the price.
Fast learner
Young PM Andrew Holness is learning rapidly on the job. Good for him. The jab at the press was below the belt, but the quick back-tracking suggests a smart mind at work. So it was for the JDIP uppercut and the spy plane knockout. Seems the PM is manning up nicely.
The great debate
Glad to see that the great debate will happen and will involve Portia and Andrew. Otherwise it would not have been worth it. Also relieved to see that Peter Bunting was only crying the usual ‘wolf’ about his debate with Danville Walker.
Shatter proof?
Question of the week: Why is it that those who live in glass houses tend to throw the most stones?
