Catherine Hall, Little Miami progress in St James KO
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Western Confederation Super League team Catherine Hall FC and Little Miami advanced past the first round of the St James Football Association’s Captain’s Bakery Knockout with wins on Thursday.
Jamaul Morrison in the 33rd and Garfield Rosewell in the 60th scored for Catherine Hall in their 2-0 win over Kempshot at the Westgreen field to take their place in the second round.
At the UDC field, Little Miami came from a goal down with two late strikes from Adeano Spence to beat Revelation FC 2-1 in over time as all three goals came in the final two minutes of regulation and the first period of extra time.
Sebastion Robinson gave Revelation an 88th minute lead before Spence equalised in the 90th minute then scored the winner six minutes into the first period.
Thursday’s winners join Wadadah FC, Tomorrow’s People, Lilliput Rovers, who upset defending champions and Premier League club Montego Bay United and Reggae Youths as first round winners.
