Salut! Friends For Life
Eager to participate in this week’s Salut! celebration, Arnella Chin, operations manager at Track Price Plus, and longtime beau Pierre Goubault, director of Dream Entertainment, held a private poolside dinner party at their St Andrew apartment complex last Monday evening. The delightful eight-course dinner, catered by Gobault’s mum Lorraine Fung (one of the 10 caterers participating in Salut’s ‘Order In’ week), went over exceedingly well with the dinner party that included the hosts’ fresh-faced corporate friends as well as execs from Best Dressed Chicken, a sponsor of Salut!
Sipping J Wray and Nephew’s Torres wines — a Vina Esmeralda white and a Celeste Crianza red — guests eagerly sat at the table and awaited Fung’s cuisine. Dinner would soon commence, and given Fung’s penchant for exciting the palate, guests heartily indulged in forkfuls of each of her dishes. The menu, most of which included meats provided by Best Dressed Chicken, was titled ‘Lucky Eight Dishes’. Thursday Food features moments from the dinner party our affable hosts, Chin and Gobault, dubbed ‘Friends for Life’.
