Lottie, 13, set to cause a storm in the modelling world
Her elder sister was famously discovered at the John F Kennedy airport in New York when she was just 14 years old. However, for supermodel Kate Moss’s half-sister Charlotte — known as Lottie — it appears merely an appearance at her sibling’s wedding has been enough to launch her career.
Lottie, who is Peter Moss’s daughter with second wife Inger, does not turn 14 until January. However, she posed for her first ‘test shoot’, which took place last month. It was organised by her sister’s agents Storm Model Management and, in particular, Sarah Doukas — the agent who famously discovered Kate in New York. The sisters’ father Peter Moss exclusively told the Mail it was ‘early days’ as far as any future plans were concerned, though Lottie had a ‘lovely time’ on the shoot, which took place last month.
He explained: “It’s early days, really. Storm, Kate’s agent, felt that it was worth giving Lottie a test shoot and seeing how she turned out. She had a lovely time and she seemed to come out quite well — so everybody’s happy so far. It will be very strictly controlled because she’s not 14 yet so it’s very early days. Lottie was one of 15 bridesmaids at the supermodel’s wedding to Jamie Hince in Southrop, Gloucestershire at the beginning of July.
Following that public appearance, modelling agencies soon rushed to sign up the willowy youngster. They were said to be enamoured with her porcelain skin, blonde hair and cheekbones. Fashion bible Vogue magazine said Lottie was “already showing signs she will follow in her sister’s footsteps”. While Carole White, the founder of Premier Models, who launched Naomi Campbell’s career, said: “Lottie looks beautiful and fresh — a very English rose look.” Fashion expert Karen Kay said the teenager’s classical beauty is very ‘now’, adding: “She’s even got a Cindy Crawford-style mole on her chin. She’s the full package. If she plays her cards right, she could eclipse Kate.”

‘I would love to have lots of children with Russell Brand’
Singer Katy Perry has spoken about her plans to start a family with Russell Brand. The 27-year-old star married the Arthur star, 36, last year and they recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
In an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Perry was asked if she wants to get pregnant. She said: “Yeah, I would love to have children. I think that’s one of the reasons you get married, especially to the person that you marry. You think: ‘That person is going to be a good partner, a good parent.’” Asked if she wants lots of kids, Perry added: “If it doesn’t hurt the first time I’ll keep popping them out.” But she’s not ready for motherhood just yet. “I’m not sure it’s yet,” she added. “We’ll see, you know?” For now, the star is focusing on her career and announced that she’ll treat fans to a free concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles to wrap up her California Dreams tour. “I want to finish it off by renting out Staples (Center) myself and giving a free concert to anyone in the world that wants to come to the California Dreams tour as my last show,” she said.

‘Boys called me hairy monster’
She’s one of the world’s biggest music stars, but Madonna wasn’t always so popular. The singer, 53, has revealed she was picked on by boys at school during her early years. But she said she refused to listen to the taunts — and stopped shaving her armpits out of spite.
“The boys in my school would make fun of me,” she revealed in an interview with US magazine Harper’s Bazaar. “[They would call me] hairy monster. You know, things like that. And then, going to high school, I saw how popular girls had to behave to get the boys. I knew I couldn’t fit into that. So I decided I would do the opposite. I refused to wear make-up, [or] to have a hairstyle. I refused to shave. I had hairy armpits.” Madonna, who grew up in Detroit, Michigan, also revealed that she struggled to have relationships as a teenager because she frightened off straight men. “Straight men did not find me attractive,” she told US magazine Harper’s Bazaar. I think they were scared of me because I was different.”
