Open wide
A student of the Green Island Primary School (centre) being attended by two dental care volunteers (left and right) who are part of the USA-based Great Shape Incorporated which conducted a free dental at the school last week. Sandals International and the Ministry of Health has partnered with Great Shape Incorporated in the project.
Under the programme, dental professionals from Great Shape Inc. who have been undertaking humanitarian projects in Jamaica since 1988, apply fluoride and sealant to the permanent molars of the children which blocks out cavity causing bacteria. (Photo: Alan Lewin)
