LAST week we discussed some tips and tricks to help you make Jamaica OBSERVER CELEBRATES FASHION’S NIGHT OUT (FNO) 2011 a success. This week we’ll look at a few hot spots you may want to check out somewhere along your shopping spree!

For your shopping pleasure, TEENage put together a list of places you can go to have a bite to eat, take a breather from shopping, or just have a little fun while still enjoying the specials available. Check out these hot spots and remember to add a few to your FNO list.

Islandwide

Mother’s is your fast-food stop for FNO, with specials at their locations right across the island. At their patty express restaurants in the Spring’s Plaza in Half-Way-Tree and downtown Kingston, you can get a free beef or power patty with your purchase of any patty. At the full-service restaurants in all the FNO spots, your purchase of any everyday value meal, gives you a free scoop of ice cream. Also at the full service spots, you can get an extra piece of chicken with every two-piece chicken meal. These deals are sure to give you all the fuel you need to keep on shopping!

Kingston & St Andrew

Make a stop at Chilitos for a bite to eat before, after or in-between your shopping. Accompanying their reasonable prices on various Mexican dishes, they will have FNO specials on drinks from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Cuddyz will be extending their opening hours and will also have specials on drinks. You can stop by for bite to eat, or just to enjoy the ambiance while taking a much needed shopping break.

You and two friends can move over to Devon House where the three of you can spend only $1,000 for a tour of the great house, and a scoop of ice cream to top it off. This great offer is only available from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Chocolate Dreams is ready to get you chocolate wasted for FNO! They are offering tastings, a chocolate fountain and discounts on their mouth-watering chocolate filled and chocolate covered treats.

For specials on food, drinks and a few 2-4-1 treats you can check out Susie’s Bakery and Coffee Bar. They are known for their delectable dishes, and the environment is perfect for winding down after a night of shopping.

The Jamaica Pegasus has lots in store for just about everybody. With special tea from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, 30 per cent off on spa treatments all day, discounts and giveaways at Brown Sugar (on the hotel compound), a trunk show by Déjà vu until 10:00 pm and special rates for Thursday to Sunday, you are sure to find something that is perfect for you.

It’s always good to get some coffee in for that boost of energy, and Ritual’s Coffee Shop is the perfect place to stop. In addition to the great coffee options they will be offering a discount on cold drinks, hot sandwiches and their pasta dishes.

Montego Bay

Twisted Kilt will help that seafood craving with 2-4-1 lobster all night. Before or after a night of shopping, this is the perfect spot to indulge in both the lobster and their drink specials.
