The Global Party Jamaica: Linking the world for a worthy cause
IT is dubbed ‘The Social Event of the Decade’, the ultimate luxury event happening around the world with over 80 parties, set in 73 cities within 40 countries, and taking place in some of the world’s most exclusive venues and unexplored alcoves.
Kingston, Jamaica, is fortunate to be one of the proud host cities for what is aptly named ‘The Global Party’. The world’s largest private party is intended to host 100,000 of the planet’s wealth creators and influencers, affording them a priceless and memorable networking opportunity in an effort to raise funds and awareness for a collection of famed charities across the globe. The Global Party Jamaica, however, will support Chain of Hope Jamaica, an organisation working to create a sustainable paediatric cardiac service here in Jamaica.
Chain of Hope
Chain of Hope has a number of projects in its pipeline, including the construction of a US$5 million Intensive Care Unit on the island. This is clearly a tall order and The Global Party Jamaica aims to raise positive awareness and funds around this undertaking. Chain of Hope also currently provides consumables and equipment for children’s surgeries; training of cardiac personnel and also coordinates visiting medical and surgical missions in Jamaica.
The chief strategists behind the project are billionaire philanthropist Lord Stanley Fink and Lifestyle Entrepreneur David Johnstone, both based in the UK. Fink is a former CEO of ‘The Man Group’ which he built into the world’s largest hedge fund and is often considered ‘The Godfather’ of the hedge fund concept. Johnstone is founder of the Key2Luxury.
Each invitee receives an impressive invitation which features the coveted Key2Luxury Key Ring — essentially an American Express ‘Black Card’ without the buying responsibility affording individuals a LIFETIME of global privileges, exclusive offers and access to thousands of VIP contacts across the world. Designed for jetsetters and those who cherish the finer things, the Key2Luxury is the ultimate business accessory and quintessential point of difference for those who wish to unlock access to a world which is but a distant dream to most. The key ring cannot be purchased through any retail channel, in fact it comes with compliments with your Global Party Invitation.
This opportunity is not to be missed! Through the Global Party, Johnstone has made available a special edition Key2Luxury key ring. After the event is over all key rings which are not activated become useless and are sent back to the UK. After that, receiving a key ring returns to being almost impossible; it is by invitation only, just like buying a Ferrari.
To get invited to The Global Party one has to become a sponsoring organisation/individual or a guest of the same locally. Otherwise a desiring patron can choose to make a donation upwards of £3000 (JA$422,000) to one of the Global Charities making local packages far more attractive.
Kirk-Anthony Hamilton
Twenty-five-year-old green design consultant and entrepreneur Kirk-Anthony Hamilton is responsible for bringing the concept to Jamaica. Prior to this Hamilton resided in South Beach, Florida, and has played an integral role in the development of the much anticipated ‘STAR Island Bahamas’ project, the world’s first 100 per cent off the grid luxury resort island. His portfolio of work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and on The Travel Channel, to name a few.
Hamilton and his partners which include his sister Michele-Anne Hamilton, CEO of the Marketing Guru and a number of high profile advisors, local and international, are responsible for its execution in Jamaica.
He has been adamant that the event must be held in Kingston, highlighting our capital city as a global entertainment destination and haven for business, elevating its profile to stand alongside that of New York, Miami, Washington DC, Capetown, London, Sydney, Dubai and many other first world cities. He hopes The Global Party will help cultivate a positive image of Kingston to the world.
