Manatt report to be tabled in Parliament next Tuesday

MINISTER with responsibility for information Daryl Vaz said the Manatt/Dudus Commission of Enquiry Report is to be tabled and deliberated in Cabinet next Monday and laid before Parliament the following day.

At yesterday’s post-Cabinet press briefing at Jamaica House, Vaz confirmed that the report was delivered to Governor General Sir Patrick Allen last Monday and is in the process of being tabled for Cabinet’s meeting on Monday.

The minister said the June 6 deadline for the report was met and not only will an executive summary be made available, but a copy of the entire report.

The commission was chaired by retired lawyer Emil George.
