Roger Mooking’s Best Eats
Celebrity chef Roger Mooking is not only counting down the days to the Jamaica Observer Food Awards but has also sent Thursday Food his list of must-haves during his stay here on The Rock. Naturally we are all set to further tantalise his taste buds with:
* Ackee and saltfish with roast breadfruit
* Fresh fish cooked in as many ways as possible
* Curry goat with rice and peas
* Patty and coco bread
* Fish tea
* Jerk chicken
* Oxtail
* Stamp and Go
* Peanut Punch
* Coconut water (with soft and ‘medium’ jelly)
Roger Mooking is this year’s guest chef and will share his culinary journey at our Foodie Seminar on Wednesday, May 25 at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel and his culinary skills on Thursday, May 26 at Devon House.
