The newcomer – Bryan Robinson, express officer
ONLY eight months into the job as Jamaica National Building Society’s (JNBS’) express officer, Bryan Robinson is making his mark, distinguishing himself as one of the bank’s top performers for 2010.
“His whole attitude towards how he executes his work makes him a top performer. He goes about his job with the aptitude and attitude that is needed,” said Hayley Crosdale, assistant branch manager at the bank and Robinson’s direct supervisor.
She added that she was proud of the strides he had made since joining the team at JN.
“He has taken the initiative to learn outside of what his specific tasks are. This is one fact that makes him a top performer. I hope he continues (as a) top performer on an annual basis,” Crosdale said.
Meanwhile, Robinson is likely to be the first smiling face you see on entering the bank, as he educates customers about the new self-service system in place at JN and get them to use it.
“I ensure that our members are comfortable with using the area (JN express self-service kiosk) on their own and introduce to them the new self-service methods. My other responsibilities include making certain that the equipment in the area is fully operational, ensuring that members are aware of the benefits of saving and advising members of any new products or changes in our operations and/or services,” noted the 23-year-old, who holds a first degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Technology.
As for his recognition as one of JN’s top perfomers, Robinson said: “I am honoured that my work is being rewared. I am grateful for the dedicated team members and support from the management.”
