Flava McGregor backs singer Vybrant
Popular No Doubts Record producer Kemar ‘Flava’ McGregor is confident that it is only a matter of time before upcoming artiste Vybrant ‘buss out’ on a big scale.
Vybrant recently recorded the track Birthplace for the talented producer and it is expected that this song will be making an impact in the music circles.
“Birthplace is an authentic roots song that talks about stuff happening in our community and we have to protect our community and teach the youth about upliftment and stop all the violence. We must love and respect where we come from and don’t turn our backs from where we are from. It is a nice song and it is sending out a positive message,” said McGregor about the single.
Although the song has not been officially released to the public as yet, music lovers can purchase it on iTunes.
According to McGregor he has been receiving a lot of positive feedback on the single so much so he will be fast tracking plans to have it officially released.
“The feedback on the song is great and I have got a lot of comments from DJs and from the various medias that they really love the song,” said MCGregor adding that it helps that the single is also receiving good rotation.
As far as the man who is credited with building top riddims such as Rub-a-dub, Drop It and Ghetto Riddims, “Vybrant is just waiting to explode.”
“Vybrant is an artiste that I have known a long time. He is an artiste that I always wanted to work with because I know he has a lot of talent,” said McGregor pointing out that because of his razy schedule he never got the time to work with him.
