Kerry Moxam reveals Miss Intercontinental wardrobe
Kerry Moxam, first runner-up in the 2010 Miss Jamaica World Pageant, as well as Beach
Beauty winner, is set to represent Jamaica in fine style at the 2010 Miss Intercontinental Pageantin Punta Cana, Dominica Republic.
Moxam, who is set to leave the island tomorrow, showed off her wardrobe at the Spartan Health Club. She donned a variety of pieces ranging from swimwear, smart daywear to cocktails and gowns.
Max Brown, the primary provider of Moxam’ s wardrobe, is contributing 12 outfits
including a stage gown. Uzuri International is also prominently featured.
Uzuri International is also providing her national costume and a stage gown. The wardrobe is completed by other contributors, The Mushroom – swimwear, SooHo Clothing, Exhale and designer Althea LeFranc, a Miss Jamaica World contestant in 1981who presently resides in Los Angeles and is a frequent contributor to the Miss Jamaica’ s Wardrobe to Miss World.
The Miss International competition which will be staged, Saturday, November 6, at the Barcelo Punta Cana Resort in the Dominican Republic. Moxam along with over 60 other delegatesfrom around the world will compete in three categories: swimsuit, evening gown and interview round with the hopes of winning the title, as well as the coveted crown named, Oriental Holy Water. This crown, which is worth US$361,446, is said to be the most expensive pageant crown in the world.
Miss Intercontinental 2010 will win an impressive array of prizes including a furnished
apartment in Germany during her year as title holder, a minimum payment of US$1500 per month plus extra for modeling assignments.
Famed Jamaican beauty Sandra Foster(Miss Jamaica Universe 1989; Miss Jamaica World 1991) won the Miss Intercontinental Contest in 1990 when it was held in Lagos, Nigeria.
