Arthur Guinness celebration ready to go
ALL systems are set and ready to go for tonight’s staging of the Arthur Guinness Celebration scheduled for the National Stadium.
With patronage expected from across the Caribbean, the concert featuring the likes of international recording star Busta Rhymes, Wyclef Jean and Shaggy as well as Lady Saw, Freddie McGregor and the Big Ship Family, Beenie Man, Bounty Killer and Mavado, is said to be one of the biggest concert experiences ever witnessed in this hemisphere.
According to the organisers, no stones have been left unturned and a stellar entertainment event with some of the hottest acts, safest venue and good clean fun.
One of the highlights of the night’s mega event is the large stage that has been erected for the performances as well as multiple screens to project the performers to the over 10,000 persons expected inside the National Stadium.
Concert producer, Guinness, will also be ensuring that patrons have ready and easy access to their favourite beverage Guinness as a number of bars have been strategically placed in the venue to compliment the Guinness specials that will be on offer throughout the night.
Over 200 security personnel have been deployed to ensure safety for the patrons and the law enforcement officers will be out in full force ensuring that patrons adhere to the specially implemented rules laid down for the night’s event.
Traffic flow has also been amended to facilitate a smooth and hassle-free experience. A one way system will be in effect from Mountain View Ave to Tom Redcam Drive along Arthur Wint Drive.
