The Devonshire was the venue Thursday last of the launch of the 2011 Wedding Season, an event hosted by wedding consultants, Island Bride Jamaica. The invitation-only event welcomed family, friends, wedding vendors and the newly engaged who took the opportunity to mingle and absorb all that Island Jamaica had to offer its potential clients, including one of the most important elements of a wedding — the fare.
Guests sipped on signature bridal cocktails courtesy of bar service Bar Code and J Wray and Nephew, while Observer Food Awards Chef of the Year nominee, Oji Jaja, created appetisers to tantalise their palates. Thursday Food shares this fare fit for an island bride.
