Want healthy hair? Try OX Organix!
Most women have the occasional ‘bad hair day’ and seem to have a similar cry — a yearning for healthy hair. This complaint is especially common amongst black and multiracial women who face the challenge of dealing with an unpredictable hair texture and who must always have their stylists on speed dial.
Seems however, that our prayers have been answered and that the product is right heer under our noses. Allow us to introduce Suzanne Wilson and her OX Organix Xtreme Revitalising Pre-conditioning Hair Treatment. The former MAC make-up artist has created a home-made miracle concoction of all-natural ingredients, including molasses and five essential oils.
Our Get the Look team introduces you to the deep-conditioning product that we were told “will change your hair forever”.

How did she do it?
Two words — frustration and disenchantment. Suzanne, like most women, had tried everything – all the popular and prescribed haircare products — and nothing worked. Her hair was still shedding, breaking and nothing she tried prevented it from frizzing. She soon grew tired of using chemical-based products in her hair. So what did she do? Why, the Jamaican thing, of course… she went ahead and created her own hair product.
She already had all the tools — the drive, the knowledge (she is a trained ‘black hair specialist’), a love for nature and an aptitude for chemistry.
Two years later she is ready to tell the world about OX, and we are happy to introduce it.
Why it works
Suzanne did her research, and discovered the reason why many products don’t yield the desired outcome — the molecules are too large to penetrate the hair shaft and infuse it with the necessary minerals needed to promote healthy growth. She then created a formula with smaller molecules, which she tested and improved on over time, and is currently working on a full line of products — shampoo, conditioner and anti-frizz serum to complement the deep-conditioning treatment.
How it works
“You get instantaneous results! Plus OX also improves your hair texture over time by replacing your hair’s natural elasticity and healing all damages, and it works with any product. Just shampoo your hair, apply OX and let it sit for 15-20 minutes, then condition, rinse, dry and style,” she tells our Get the Look team.
