Pulse superstar Jaunel McKenzie this month wows Essence readers with a stunning eight-page editorial on fall fashion. Photographed by Kwaku Alston on location at Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn with styling by Ellianna Placas, the spread aptly titled ‘Make A Scene’ ushers in autumn “wrapped in sumptuous knits and statement-making coats that announce your arrival”. Truth be told Jaunel has never had a problem announcing her arrival and SO is elated, through the amazing team at Essence magazine, to announce Jaunel coupled with a few words from the editor-in-chief.

“There’s something about Jaunel that just draws you in. We wanted to use someone with a captivating look for our fall fashion spread. She has the perfect combination of beauty, confidence and magnetism. We’re expecting exciting things from Jaunel in the future,” says Essence editor-in-chief Angela Burt-Murray.
