Beware, Obama! Donald Trump announces his intention to run for President!
Billionaire businessman Donald Trump made a shocking revelation while in Scotland to receive an honorary degree on Friday, where he was awarded a Doctorate of Business Administration at Robert Gordon University (RGU) in Aberdeen, but local residents didn’t exactly roll out the red carpet. Many gathered at RGU to protest the American real estate tycoon’s plans to build a $1.2-billion golf course in Aberdeen, which they fear could force them out of their homes, to make room for the resort.
In what seemed like an attempt to draw attention away from protests of his proposed business deal, Trump told reporters he’s considering a run for president in 2012. The self-proclaimed Republican said lots of people have been urging him to toss his hat into the ring and arrogantly added: “with proper leadership, America would do unbelievably well.” When asked by cable news network MSNBC when he will make his decision, the 64-year-old refused to give specifics saying only: “Well, I’ll make it over a period of time.” RGU awarded Trump his degree in recognition of his entrepreneurial vision, business acumen and his long-term plans for the north-east of Scotland. The New York native is Chairman and CEO of the Trump Organization, a US based real-estate development company. He also owns Trump Entertainment Resorts, which develops casinos and hotels. The thrice-married tycoon’s extravagant lifestyle has made him an international celebrity and earned him the nickname ‘The Donald’. The success of his NBC reality show The Apprentice has made his star status soar even higher.
Trump is said to be worth an estimated $2 billion dollars.

Gwyneth Paltrow speaks out about her ‘shocking’ Hollywood proposition
Gwyneth Paltrow has spoken about her experience with Hollywood’s notorious casting couch. The Oscar-winning actress revealed that she was propositioned by an unnamed film executive when she was first trying to break into acting. The 38-year-old says she was left stunned by the offer, which she promptly refused. She tells Elle magazine: “When I was just starting out, someone suggested that we finish a meeting in the bedroom, I left. I was pretty shocked.” Gwyneth landed her first significant film role in 1991, playing young Wendy in the Peter Pan movie, Hook. She went on to become an in-demand leading lady, even landing an Academy Award for Shakespeare in Love. The actress now feels ‘dejected’ by the lack of variety in the roles she is offered. “Sometimes you find out that something you really liked is going to someone 10 years younger. I find it heartening that Meryl Streep and Sandra Bullock have been able to find and create amazing projects,” she said. Gwyneth is one of the stars being honoured for her impact on the film industry in Elle’s Women in Hollywood November issue. Hilary Swank, Kate Hudson, Sofia Coppola, Kerry Washington, Diane Keaton, Jodie Foster and Diane Kruger also feature in the edition.

Amy Winehouse is pretty in purple for an afternoon date with her boyfriend
Amy Winehouse has been looking rather happy and healthy of late.
After recently declaring that she’d not touched any drugs for three years, she has been snapped looking fresh-faced and back to her best and even stepped out in north London on Friday looking radiant in a pretty purple dress. The 27-year-old showed off a clear and smooth complexion as she arrived at a pub in Marylebone, London, to meet her 33-year-old film director boyfriend Reg Traviss. Her trademark backcombed hairstyle was replaced with a ponytail — albeit a bouffant — which made her look very feminine. Her eyes were free of her usual thick black eyeliner, but still sparkled under minimal mascara which she complemented with a faint streak of pink lipstick, but not to change her attire completely, she strutted along in her favourite pink satin ballet shoes. The usual sullen look that she flashes towards the cameras was also replaced with a beaming grin, her happiness clear for all to see. The reason for Amy’s happy and healthy demeanour could be all down to her boyfriend who has kept her on the straight and narrow since they started dating in May.
