Step 1

For natural plumpness and smoothness, use a facial scrub to exfoliate your lips — rubbing it in for about two minutes before washing off. Do this about half an hour before applying your lipstick.

Step 2

Apply a lip balm five minutes prior to your lipstick application for added moisture.

Step 3

Define your lips with a deep red or hot pink lip liner pencil, then apply a coat of fuchsia or neon pink lipstick and blot with tissue before applying another coat.

Step 4

For the perfect runway look you can keep it matte (dull) as shown at right. For high-voltage shine, however, apply a bright pink lipgloss which is similar to the colour of your lipstick.
