Fashion Saturday – October 9
We got a lot of rain across the island for most of last week, but even with the skies overcast and many events being postponed we still managed to spot a few stylish ladies in and around Kingston.
Here are some of the eye-popping looks we encountered.

Too cool for school: We spotted Jodey looking ‘campus-chic’ in a comfortably casual outfit at UTECH. She headed off to her classes in green skinny jeans, a black baby tee and matching flip-flop sandals accessorised with hoop earrings, a burgundy beret and school gear.

Traffic mode: The ‘diva Nikki Z’ styled in a polka dot mini, white tank and studded belt by American Eagle, with black gladiator heels by Bakers and layered accessories. Her fire engine red hair adds some pizzazz to the vintage-influenced ensemble.

Empress style: Media personality and entrepreneur Empress is the picture of elegance with this belted turtleneck sheath in satin featuring linear patterns. We love how she ups the style quotient with black Mary Janes ornamented with rosettes and a black handbag.

Asian inspiration: The ever-stylish Island Grill boss Thalia Lyn went for minimalist appeal in a ruched, strapless dress with origami-inspired ruffles along the bodice, and accessorised with pearls and gold-heeled sandals.
