Facebook billionaire Mark Zuckerberg guest-stars on The Simpsons
Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg has been transformed into an animated character for the latest episode of The Simpsons. The billionaire lent his voice and animated face to the popular TV series.
The episode is based around money and status in today’s society, and as fictional character Nelson Muntz sets up his own successful business, he starts contemplating abandoning the rest of his education and living off his riches. Lisa Simpson starts investing in the business but in an attempt to convince her friend to stay in school, she takes Nelson along to an Entrepreneur Show. In comes Mark Zuckerberg, 26, who informs the school children at his Facebook stand that neither he, Bill Gates nor Richard Branson actually finished university. He also pointed out that people who don’t graduate from university make only three per cent less on the whole than people who do. Although his point might not have been so valid to Nelson’s predicament, as Zuckerberg actually attended Harvard, but just didn’t end up completing his degree, as did Gates. Bill Gates and Richard Branson also made guest appearances in the episode, with stands for Microsoft and Virgin Airlines at the Entrepreneur Show. Meanwhile, as Zuckerberg was busy in Springfield, The Social Network film, which tells the story of the founding of Facebook, found millions of friends in theatres during the weekend. It took in $23 million and earned the No. 1 spot at box offices, according to studio estimates on Sunday after playing in just under 2,800 US and Canadian cinemas. The movie has been received with universal acclaim by critics.

Justin Beiber takes mom as his date to guitarist’s wedding
It might have been someone else’s big day but Justin Bieber just couldn’t help stealing the spotlight. The pint-sized pop star was attending the Jewish wedding of his guitar player and musical director Dan Kanter in Toronto on Sunday, and he couldn’t resist entertaining the wedding party as he grabbed the microphone and took to the stage to belt out a few songs. Accompanied by two backing singers, Justin, 16, wowed the guests at the Four Seasons hotel in the Canadian city. Not to be completely outdone by his teenage guest, the groom picked up his guitar and played along with his wedding singer.
The Baby singer took his 34-year-old mother Pattie Mallette as his date to the nuptials despite rumours he is dating another teen pop star, Jasmine Villegas, who co-starred in his Baby music video. The pair were caught kissing by an eagle-eyed fan, who snapped them looking very cosy in the back of a car in traffic recently.

More woes for Britney Spears as former nanny sues her for $35,000
Britney Spears is being sued by a nanny who claims the star owes her $35,000 (£22,000) for a single month’s work. Nanny Ferial Zaltash claims in papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday that she was hired by the pop princess in September 2007 to look after her sons Sean Preston, now five, and Jayden James, now four. The document states: “In September 2007, Spears hired Plaintiff as an employee to serve as her personal assistant and nanny to her children, but never paid Plaintiff for her services. Plaintiff worked through September 30, 2007 and then resigned on October 1, 2007.”
The four-page court document alleges Spears has refused to pay the amount for the woman’s one month of service.
Zaltash is also asking for $20k ( £12,500 ) for penalties for unpaid wages and overtime work. The claims come months after the singer’s former bodyguard slapped the singer with a sexual harassment lawsuit.
