Rock the Cloth

Rock The Cloth:

Rock the Cloth, this week, is strutting with Lara George, 2010 winner of the Caribbean Model Search (CMS) Petite section. Her styling reflects our take on fashion from the runways, as each piece was created with a mini-collection in mind. The simplest design is the tube. The bustier style requires a pattern and is more detailed in construction and finish.

Steps:

1. Cut (a) dress front and back (b) elastic

2. Join the front and back at the sides and shoulders

3. Join the ends of the elastic to create a band

4. Attach elastic to top of dress

5. Finish seams and hem
