Regional Manager Victoria Mutual Building Society

As Regional Manager with responsibility for the Eastern Region at Victoria Mutual Building Society, I am always on the go, travelling among the four branches in St Andrew that I supervise and from St Thomas to Portland, to meet customers. Whether or not I’m at the office, I’m at work, so my laptop, my VPN token and my modem are critical.

There is nothing more satisfying than being able to connect directly to our ‘banking’ system, and provide the critical information that customers need, real time! Communication with customers and the team is ongoing, so there is always the need to answer the phone, especially while driving. This is when my Samsung Bluetooth headset becomes a necessary luxury, complementing the comfort and safety indicative of Honda that moves me around.

But there is one other need that must be fulfilled – the need to de-stress between the rush, and what better way to cool down than with music? So, with my Phillips GoGear MP3 player I have the choice of Frank Sinatra, Beres Hammond, Musiq Soulchild, Jasmine Sullivan or Etana – anyone will do the job. Finally, the one thing I never forget is that I’m an ambassador of the VMBS brand. If nothing else speaks to the strength of the brand – a classy VMBS pen does, and I always have one!
