Children’s Advocate condemns Tredegar Park massacre

Police today identified the victims as Eldon Heron age 60 also called ‘Daddy’; Eldon Heron Jnr age 38 also called ‘Fidel’; Gary Stewart age 22 also called ‘Lando’; Orrett Miller age 26 also called ‘Yankee’ all from a Lot 31 Tredegar Park address; Hopelin Dennis age, 43; Joel Anderson, 16 ; Angel Anderson, 11 and Nekfifia Anderson, 23, from lot 23 Tredegar Park.
“Its a tragic loss and it just shows the level of barbarism in the island,” said Rose Robinson-Hall, acting Children’s Advocate.

One 10-year-old girl and a boy, 16, were killed in the attacks.
At least three other children were reportedly in one of the houses which the gunmen invaded. They were not harmed, however.
Police say 15 heavily-armed men dressed in dark clothes carried out the attack.
