Rupee burst onto the scene with this sizzling soca-reggae track and the world just loved it! Though this was some time ago, Tempted to touch is still a party favourite.
Hyperventilating – Tami Chynn

Dreamin’ – Mavado
Mavado is well known for his uncomplicated lyrics and catchy choruses, but this track caused much controversy with lyrics like “You must be dreamin’, how gyal fi have bad man ah do house cleanin’?”
Tempted to touch – Beres Hammond
When this song hit the airwaves in the early ’90s it was an instant sensation, and is now considered one of Jamaica’s classic ‘lovers-rock’ singles that are appreciated the world over.
One more drink – Ludacris featuring T-Pain
This collaboration between Ludacris and T-Pain humorously explores the ‘what ifs’ and the thought processes that can occur when one has a bit too much to drink.
Sweet dreams – The Eurythmics – lead
British musician Dave Stewart and Scottish frontwoman Annie Lennox (The Eurythmics) catapulted to superstardom in the 1980s with this timeless track. The electrifying track soon became a worldwide hit and was even listed as one of the 500 greatest songs of all time by Rolling Stone magazine.
Beautiful nightmare – Beyoncé
Beyoncé has always managed to stay current by constantly reinventing herself and her style of music. She experiments with a disco-influenced sound on the club-ready Beautiful nightmare, providing the perfect example of why she is one of the most influential artistes in today’s music.
