Wisynco Group rolls back prices
Wisynco Group Limited manufacturers and distributors of some 100 premium brands in Jamaica yesterday announced that they will roll back the prices of the full portfolio of their brands.
Group Finance Director, Andrew Mahfood, says that the decision to roll back their prices came as a result of the appreciation of the Jamaican dollar. “We have decided with all good intentions, to offer Jamaica a 3 per cent price reduction on all the products that we manufacture and distribute, in light of the strengthening of the Jamaican dollar versus the United States dollar. This was a very simple and easy decision to take as we have always held at the forefront of our trading practices, our customers’ and consumers’ well being. We know that they will happily receive our action and we are honoured to continue to offer the best value from the brands we represent.”
Effective Monday June 14, 2010, this price reduction will affect products from brands such as Ocean Spray, Coca-Cola, Betty Crocker, Kellogg’s, Nature Valley, Hershey’s, Ben and Jerry’s and Ferrero Rocher products. This will also apply to products that are manufactured by Wisynco, which included Bigga Sodas, WATA, Ocean Spray WATA, Boom Energy Drink, and synthetic products.
Wisynco Group Managing Director, William Mahfood, asserts that ‘as the Innovators, Wisynco’s primary focus is customer service and consumer satisfaction. WE are definitely not about just making new products, building brands and sales, but we are very concerned about the quality of life and the well being of our biggest stakeholders, which are our customers and consumers; and we always serve them with our motto, “improving the lives of our people” at the forefront of our business practices and we understand exactly how important it is for Jamaicans to be able to save money at this time.”
