Lady GaGa has royal lingerie company in a twist after priceless panties go missing
Pop star Lady GaGa has left a lingerie firm with their knickers in a twist after she was loaned prototypes for their latest collection and they were lost in transit.
Rigby and Peller claims it sent seven sets of the handmade Autumn/Winter 2010 collection to New York for the Paparazzi singer to wear in a new music video. But only three were returned in time for the catwalk show, which was unveiled on Thursday. Rigby and Peller holds the royal warrant to provide underwear to the Queen. The firm alleges only three sets of underwear were brought back in luggage. But the rest of the collection was reported ‘AWOL’ by couriers. It was an unusual pairing, to say the least. But a spokeswoman for the lingerie company, which only sees customers by appointment, said: “Obviously we were delighted that Lady GaGa wanted to use our new pieces in her next video but we did stress we needed them back in plenty of time for our press show. They are all hand-made and unique designs that are simply priceless and are not available anywhere in the world so we are really disappointed not to get them back in time for our major showcase of the year. The last we heard the underwear was still ‘AWOL’ and we are not sure when we will see them again. If we don’t get them back then it could hold up the whole production of our AW10 collection as they are the prototypes.” Celebrity clients include Sophie Dahl, Leona Lewis, Stella McCartney, Isabella Rossellini and Gwyneth Paltrow. A spokesman for Lady GaGa said: “We have nothing to say on the matter.”

“I’m the worst in my acting class” admits Hollywood’s highest paid actress Emma Watson
She’s Hollywood’s highest paid actress and the star of one of the biggest film franchises of all time.
But Emma Watson has revealed she enrolled in acting classes at her American college, Brown University. And in a candid confession, the 20-year-old said: “I think actually I’m the worst in the class.” Watson was nine years old when she beat out thousands of other hopefuls to land the role of Hermione Granger alongside Daniel Radcliffe as the boy wizard Harry Potter. Last year, Watson was named as Hollywood’s highest paid actress by Vanity Fair magazine after taking home US$30 million. She earned more than established stars such as Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston, thanks to her income from the latest two Potter films, The Deathly Hallows parts I and II. Watson stunned many in the film business by turning down other acting roles to go back to school last year having achieved straight As in her A-levels.

Beyoncé plays the desperate housewife in sizzling retro video
With Lady GaGa, Christina Aguilera and Rihanna on the scene, Beyoncé has plenty of competition for the unofficial title of sexiest pop star.
But the28-year-old singer proved she is still a very worthy contender with the release of her latest video. She plays a red-hot desperate housewife in the retro-inspired clip for her new single, Why Don’t You Love Me. The star pulls on a pair of cleaning gloves and manages to make even the simplest of chores look appealing. In a scene seemingly inspired by Mad Men, she is on the phone in tears, writhing around on a bed in a Fifties corset while clutching a martini and cigarette. She begs a mystery lover: “Why don’t you need me?” In the end, she surmises: “There’s nothin’ not to love about me/Maybe you’re just not the one/Or maybe you’re just plain dumb.”
