Music for Life
The recent Music for Life charity launch held at The Deck on April 28th saw a very good turn out, as patrons came to support the Lawman Lynch foundatioN in their endeavour to end the violence against children. The Lawman Lynch foundation is a non-profit organisation that is rooted in service and development, with its primary focus being child, youth and community development. Founded by youth activist Lawman Lynch, the foundation is assisted by Non-State Actors and other civil society movements.
The foundation seeks to use music as a tool to end the violence against children and guest speaker Etana made it abundantly clear that children are like sponges, they soak in what they see and hearn. Therefore, musicians must be positive when sending messages in their music. The strong one also encouraged youths to be positive in their approach to life and not compromise their values to make it in life.
The Concert takes place at the Ranny Williams Entertainment centre on May 29th and the cost is only $1000. TEENage endorses this event and urges persons make an extra effort to attend.
