After being mobbed by swarms of teenage girls and giving endless interviews, teen heart-throb Justin Bieber finally got time to relax on Wednesday – and promptly jumped off a bridge.

And while bungee jumping may not be everyone’s idea of a relaxing treat, it certainly seemed to do the trick for the 16-year-old pop star.

The Canadian teen idol listened carefully as he was talked through the safety procedures, before smiling as he prepared for the jump.

And while many would be fearful of leaping off a bridge, it didn’t seem to worry the young star, whose grin didn’t falter.

Bieber was enjoying a brief period of free time during his whirlwind one-day trip to New Zealand.

He headed to Auckland Bridge Bunjy at Westhaven Marina in the city, for his daring jump.

He said: ‘Finally got to New Zealand last night. The airport was crazy.

“Not happy that someone stole my hat and knocked down my mama. Come on, people.

“I want to be able to sign and take pics and meet my fans, but if you are all pushing, security won’t let me.

“Let’s keep it safe and have fun.”

Police in Australia recently cancelled a gig at Sydney Harbour when too many fans swarmed the area, with 10 girls fainting and eight being sent to hospital.

Being mobbed by his young fans has become a way of life for Bieber, since finding fame last year with his tracks One Time, One Less Lonely Girl, Love Me and Favorite Girl.

But Christina Aguilera is showing no sign of toning things down, as the promo for her new video Not Myself Tonight shows the singer in a variety of skimpy underwear sets performing what appears to be an extremely sexy dance routine.

While the video for the single is not released until the end of the month, Christina is aiming to tease fans with tantalising glimpses of the naughty footage and is clearly intending to take on Lady GaGa. The 29-year-old singer dons a red bra and knickers set with a long necklace as she poses provocatively in front of a fireplace, before wearing an outfit made entirely of chains — with just pointed pasties to maintain her decency.

Just when you thought Lady GaGa couldn’t find any more outrageous outfits, she steps out in a black lace bodysuit and funeral veil.

The 24-year-old singer seemed to have taken inspiration from funeral attire as she arrived at a dance studio in Los Angeles Wednesday.

And, if the bodysuit and veil weren’t quite enough, she teamed the strange ensemble with a leather studded waistcoat and sky-high black platform heels. GaGa is no stranger to causing controversy with her bizarre outfits.

Whether it is the odd three-tiered white dress she wore to the BRITs in February, or the dress made entirely out of Kermit The Frog toys, GaGa certainly knows how to cause a stir with her clothes.

But GaGa, who previously said her love of fashion stems from her mother’s unique sense of style, also insisted that fashion is much more than just clothes to her.
