The Weekly Word
Who can by worrying add one more feet to there height? Matthew 6:27
What worries you? Are you worried about exams, that interview for that much-needed summer job? Are you afraid that people won’t like you or you won’t be accepted? What is it that keeps you up at night, staring at your ceiling?
Listen, when you start to worry, stick a pin in those negatives thoughts and cast your problems on God. Remember He’s not going to love you any less if you don’t pass that test. It is boldly written in the Word of the Lord that you cannot do anything to change a situation by worrying about it. So why bother to?
We as TEENagers can take comfort in that if we come to the Lord, He will provide relief from our burdens. We can take comfort in the fact that we can ask God to supply strength for us to live one day at a time. And continue to be confident that He will provide it for us.
To do this week:
Just take one hour out of this week to centre your thoughts and spend it with the Lord.
