Jamaica and USA
Dear Editor,
I refer to the matter surrounding the extradition of Mr Christopher Coke.
We should remember that Jamaica is a small, defenceless country with people of the Christian faith, who know the true owner of heaven and earth and who have excelled in several areas. Jamaica is known for her phenomenal contribution to the world judging by her size of over 4,000 sq miles and a population of an estimated 2.7 million people.
It is obvious that God’s eyes are upon us and that we are very special in His sight. Therefore, anyone who seeks to destabilise or destroy this country out of malice, envy, or jealousy, or where their motives may be other than the development of law and order, whether they are found among us or within the great nation of the United States of America, then God will confound and put them to shame.
The situation where two friends have a dispute cannot be justified when the stronger one uses his strength instead of reasoning to solve the problem.
This is why the real friends of Jamaica and the United States should seek to resolve these issues peacefully and lawfully.
