Naomi Campbell: I didn’t think I would make it to 40
She attacks assistants with bejewelled mobile phones and screams at airline staff . She’s also defied a broken childhood to inspire a generation. But now approaching 40, Naomi Campbell appears to be changing from the selfish, ego-driven supermodel to the girl who Sarah Brown nominated as a ’21st-century heroine’ and who Nelson Mandela calls his ‘honorary granddaughter’. The accomplished supermodel gave Live a credible impression of a diva desiring desperately to atone.
“I’m human, I make mistakes, but I’ve come clean on them all. I don’t deny them. I’ve taken the heat and felt highly embarrassed by a lot of them. I’m not proud of the things I’ve done and the incidents that have happened in my life, and I would never say I was.”
Naomi says she’s looking forward to turning 40, but she’s chillingly aware of how close she came to becoming another casualty of the modelling world. Two months away from her 40th birthday (May 22), her skin is completely unlined and there are no telltale signs of Botox or discreet surgery.
“I thought I’d never actually make this birthday, the period from 1998 until 2005 was very difficult,” she says. She is now dating Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin — the man for whom she has said she’s quitting the UK. “We’re leaving London, I live in Moscow now permanently and I really love life there.”

Demi Moore still fuming over airbrushing row as she steps out in shapely black dress
Four months after Demi Moore’s airbrushing controversy, it appears the actress is still smarting.
The Ghost star, 47, insists her left hip wasn’t photoshopped out of the cover image of W magazine last November.
In the cover shoot, which featured Moore wearing a Balmain corset dress, it appeared a chunk of her hip had been airbrushed out of the photo.
However, the actress hit back on her Twitter page, saying: “My hips were not touched… it’s just the way u have ur hip kinda swung to one side… y can no one see this!? Idiots!”
Four months after the row, it appears Moore is still unhappy about the incident. She tells the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “(What really bothered me) wasn’t that people were saying it was retouched, it was that they were saying my hip was so badly botched because a hunk of it was taken out.”
Moore’s latest comments on the airbrushing row came as she attended an Alzheimer’s fund-raising gala in Beverly Hills with Kutcher on Thursday night. The actress looked stunning as she showed off her svelte figure in a black knee-length dress and matching heels.

Sweet 15 Angelina Jolie
She is now one of the world’s most famous women, but even at the age of 15, it was clear Angelina Jolie had star potential.
With her bee-stung lips and sultry brown eyes — but minus her trademark tattoos — Jolie poses confidently for the camera in this newly released 19-year-old photograph.
Jolie, the daughter of Hollywood actor Jon Voight, became a model in her teens, while she was a drama student.
She started her screen career in music videos, most memorably for the Rolling Stones and Meatloaf, before moving into movies. Now 34, she is in a relationship with Brad Pitt and is an Oscarwinning star, UN ambassador and mother of six — two with Pitt and four adopted from Cambodia, Vietnam, Ethiopia and Namibia. She is currently filming scenes for her new film The Tourist.
