There is still a few weeks left in the competition and the $3 million is still left on the table. Last week’s contestant did not even touch the big money. I have tried over the past few weeks not to comment too much on the contestants but to focus on myself which is just as good, but Janice Hall has forced me to revert to my previous ways.
I am wondering why Madam producer chose to spring this surprise on me. How can someone come on a show like this which has given away over three million dollars to needy recession burdened Jamaicans, and win only $800; It is indeed crazy.
I was very disappointed when Maree Sigurdson won only $4,000 and even more so when Mark Anthony Telfor won only $3,000. It seems that these contestants have not listened to what I have been saying all these months so I will have to repeat:
1. Know when to stop. Set a target and be willing to settle for a sum close to that amount. This tip is particularly applicable to Ms Hall.
2. Strategy is important and contestants should have one and stick to it because as much as I enjoy keeping my money, there is nothing more annoying than having to cut my vacation short for some pitiful attempt at my millions.
3. It’s a game so it is ok if you play to win and I love the thrill of the chase.
4. Do ensure that you take along a controlled set of individuals who will attempt to support you versus distracting you into losing a substantial amount of money. Often times they are looking forward to helping you spend it.
5. I have, through this whole process, realized that nothing makes us as humans, more vulnerable than loneliness except GREED, and once we realize this correlation and attempt to control it then we will be successful.
I think some of these contestants are trying to give Digicel Deal or No Deal a bad name. The reason we have three million dollars available is because sponsors such as ATL, Wysinco, KFC/Pizza Hut, General Accident and the Jamaica Observer have invested so much into the competition. So with only two shows left I hope that the next two contestants will take note of these short tips. Lamair Josephs who won $330,000 followed these tips, so did Christopher Martin who won over $400,000 for the Shaggy foundation as well as Kadian Francis with $275,000 and Jermaine Lindsay who won $475,000.
