Dear Editor,

There are many people who are beating around the bush as to what we need to do to rid this nation of crime, violence and corruption. I have stated before — and I am reiterating the point – that the answer can only be found in Jesus.

Citizens of Jamaica, all our efforts will get us absolutely nowhere unless Jesus Christ’s sovereign rule is established in this nation. And I say this unapologetically. There is a billboard ad that states: JESUS… THE ANSWER FOR JAMAICA. For only if Jesus Christ of Nazareth is in the hearts of men, can justice, truth, equity and fairness be found in a society.

So let us stop beating up ourselves and providing all kinds of remedies for the malaise of our nation — if it is not found in the heart-transforming message of Jesus, then forget it!

Jamaicans, let us reason together; let us get down to real living.

Leaders of this land, let us really seek the answer for the problems plaguing this nation: JESUS.
